Baking... I like to bake, but I don't do it that often. Before we moved I decided to do a little baking. I hope I can make time for it in the future because it's fun.
Here I made some chocolate eclairs. These turned out well but I would change the chocolate topping next time to milk chocolate.
This was called egg bread, but I think it is basically Challah-a Jewish bread. It was fun to make because they turned out pretty :)
Sewing...haha, this first dress I made from a shirt that I had. As you can tell, Darrin wasn't too thrilled about me dressing Logan up in it, but I had to make sure it would fit...the bow is just to complete it. Maybe I'll get a/some cute girls in the future, eh?
This project was so frustrating, but I'm glad I ended up finishing it.
I also made this vest for my nephew for Christmas. This was made from an old pair of dress pants. I followed this tutorial. I thought it turned out cute and I'm thinking about making Logan one soon.
I've made a couple more things, but those will come later. I'm also thinking about working on a quilt, stitched quilt squares, and perhaps a quiet book.
It's nice to see finished projects because it motivates me to be more productive. Lately days have been hard as far as motivation, so maybe this post will help me...and you!

I'm impressed! I'm with you on the projects-- its so fun to be productive, but long nights make for long days! I love the dress picture. Made me crack up!
Wow! You are amazing! I laughed at those pictures of Logan in a dress...glad you documented it! ...and I love that vest. I think I am going to have to make one.
That vest is cute! I need to learn how to sew. Did you teach yourself or have someone teach you? I want to try it and figure out if I like it before I invest in a sewing machine. But seeing your cute projects is really making me want to learn!
I'm so glad you posted this! I'm sitting at the computer and will remember to email you those pictures of the other dress you made for our little one! :) You are so talented!!! Good job, Rachel, on all of your projects!
