may 3rd

was Logan's 1st birthday! It really was a fun day and I think Logan enjoyed himself too :)

Here he is looking at his first present of the day from Aunt Angela and Uncle Tom.
He looks a lot more interested in this picture than he actually was.

What was inside the present: (the pants)
Thanks Angela & Tom!

 He thinks he's pretty handsome.

After Daddy got home from work we had dinner then opened presents.
He just kept crawling away from the presents to get other toys and things.

We resorted to opening presents for him.

One of his favorite presents, a xylophone from grandma and grandpa Bronson--Thank you!

A train station from Grandma & Grandpa Enos--Thank you!
He really liked the train inside the package.

Then came the cake! We stripped him down and let him dig in.

He was interested from the start.

And had no problem digging in.

The piece he put his hands all over:

As you can see, he really enjoyed his cake, although the sticky frosting all over his hands really bothered him, so after he got a few huge mouthfuls, he was done and wanted clean.

Happy Birthday to our big boy!!!

some kind of wonderful

Just the last two weeks was filled with all kinds of fun for us!

First of all, one of my best friends ever got married! Congratulations Maren!
Doesn't she just look gorgeous!
I was lucky enough to go to the sealing and it was beautiful. Tyler is one lucky guy!

Me, Holly, Maren, Jess, Tess, Kendra

The happy couple.

The very next day, Darrin graduated! (Actually, he graduated in December, but this made it feel more real).  For a while he refused to walk at graduation, but with some coaxing from his dad we got him to do it. It was funny how fast I was able to spot him in the crowd of graduates.

Him and his stoic pose.

The same weekend, we went down the road to Spanish Fork to go to the Krishna Temple. We got a "tour"...I would call it...hmm, in fact I wouldn't call it anything since it lasted about 2 minutes. But, I had wanted to go there to see what it was like, so I'm glad we did.  The best part was the animals.

Darrin loved the Koi fish pond.

Darrin's little sister, Natalie, tagged along too.

Last Tuesday was our 3rd anniversary--whoa! where has the time gone?! We had a really great date.  We went canoeing on the Provo River-so fun! and we went to dinner at PF Changs-yum!

Last Wednesday, my big boy turned 26! (no, not Logan...)
I made Darrin his favorite-banana cream pie and we had one of his favorite meals.
We didn't really do much other than that because we had gone on a date the night before. I told Darrin his birthday would get mashed together with our anniversary if we got married the day before...he wouldn't listen :)

Just one more thing and then I'll stop...
I got to meet up with one of my besties Tara since she moved closer to me. We had a great time getting dessert and talking!

Thanks Tara!
