bringing baby home

For those of you that asked--- Bennett was born 4 weeks early and Logan was born 5 weeks early.

Bennett got to come home after 6 days in the hospital. He probably could have come home earlier, but his jaundice was getting worse so he had to have a little photo therapy first:

Here he is at home sitting in the sunshine from the window. He wasn't a fan of the hat over his eyes...

Logan got to meet Bennett once in the hospital while Bennett was being switched to the nursery upstairs. It was one of the sweetest things. I lifted him up to Bennett's crib and after I put him down he got panicked and said: Up again!!! He already loved his little brother.

Logan was at home with my mom when my dad and I brought Bennett home.

This is Logan's first time holding him. This is what he did every time I told him to smile. I think he was a little excited.

We're excited to have our little guy home. It's so fun to see the differences between him and Logan. Logan asks about him every morning when he wakes up. He constantly tells Bennett, "Hi, good morning!" and when Bennett makes a sad face or cries Logan says, "I sorry baby".

Welcome home Bennett!

So sweet to see the brotherly love! He is adorable and that smile on Logan...it is to die for! I'm glad Bennett didn't have to stay in the hospital too long. That would be rough!

How cute together. I am so glad you got to take him home sooner. He looks like he will do just fine as Logan's baby brother.
